Logitech has unveiled the new Logitech G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals with TrueForce, a proprietary haptic feedback system that can be used on PC and PS / Xbox consoles. In the latter case, you can choose a style of design, in addition, console owners will appreciate the gamepad built into the steering wheel with a familiar layout of the buttons.
According to the developers, Logitech TrueForce “revolutionizes the gaming experience.” Using state-of-the-art game physics and real-time audio processing, it enables the user to experience engine roar, tire grip, track terrain, and steering wheel feedback.
TrueForce connects directly to in-game algorithms, polling them 4000 times per second to achieve a high level of realism and detail in supported games (you can check the list on the website).
The Logitech G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals Kit offers a leather-covered metal steering wheel and a polished steel-coated triple pedal set. The feedback system is based on gears and two motors with overheating protection. The brake pedal is equipped with a return spring that improves pedal responsiveness and improves control and realism of use.
A colored LED indicator of the engine speed is placed on the steering wheel, warning the driver when the maximum engine speed is reached in the current gear.
The built-in 24-way wheel controller allows the rider to easily adjust the grip control, torque, stability control, braking force, and more.
In addition, a programmable dual-clutch launch control system allows riders to outrun their rivals for maximum traction and minimum tire slip.
In Ukraine, the Logitech G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals is tentatively expected in September 2020, in the United States the model will appear in sales in August at a price of $ 399.99.
