This month, Xiaomi marks an important date – ten years since the release of its first smartphone Xiaomi Mi 1. The manufacturer decided to celebrate the milestone with the release of the commemorative flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition, which will be presented at the upcoming major presentation on August 11.
A few days ago, Xiaomi confirmed the date of the presentation, and today published a teaser of the smartphone itself, which was previously called Xiaomi Mi 10s and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Plus. Yes, this is the same Xiaomi flagship with support for ultra-fast 100-watt charging. In fact, this Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition, which has no equal in terms of the “openwork” name, is the direct heir to last year’s Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro.
According to preliminary data, Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition will receive a curved AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.67 inches with an image refresh rate of 120Hz, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash memory.
The battery capacity should be 4500 mAh. In addition to ultra-fast 100-watt charging, support for 55-watt wireless charging is expected. Also, the smartphone is credited with a 48-megapixel camera with a periscope telephoto module.
Interestingly, the page of Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition has already appeared on the website of the popular Chinese online store Jingdong. You can ignore the price, as this is an ordinary plug. At the same time, it is indicated there that it will be possible to reserve a new product until August 11, 22:00 local time. That is, the actual sales should start on the day of the announcement.
